Metro police said a teen is recovering, after having been hit by a sedan just before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, near the intersection of Fort Apache and Flamingo roads.
Police said the 17-year-old was struck, and the driver fled the scene. The victim was taken to UMC Trauma in stable condition.
Officers are still looking for the vehicle that struck the teen. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
