A man has been arrested after crashing his truck into a Mesa home early Sunday morning.
The Mesa Police Department said they believe Omar B. Hernandez, 40, drove his red truck into a home on East Eighth Avenue about 2:20 a.m. and then took off.
Police said they received an anonymous tip on a truck that matched his in the 700 block of South Jones Street in Mesa. The tip led police to Hernandez and, according to police, he admitted to the hit-and-run collision.
He was booked into jail on a felony charge of criminal damage and a misdemeanor charge of leaving the scene of a crash.
