TOLLAND, CT (WFSB) -

Damage has been reported in locations across northeastern Connecticut following tornado warnings that were issued Wednesday afternoon.

There were three separate tornado warnings that were issued during the afternoon in portions of Tolland and Windham Counties.

Several witnesses reported seeing funnel clouds in Coventry and Tolland.

Channel 3 Eyewitness News crews have reported seeing damage along Depot Road in Coventry and in various locations in Tolland.

In Coventry, there are reports that multiple barns were knocked down because of high winds.

In addition, trees were reported to be down along Loehr Road in Tolland, however, so far, no structural damage has been reported.

In Mansfield, several trees were reported to be down along Stafford Road, Route 195 and Chaffeeville Road.

No injuries have been reported at this time.

A team from the National Weather Service in Taunton, MA. will be headed to Connecticut Thursday to see if a tornado did in fact touch down in the state.

Hundreds of power outages were also reported because of the storms, according to both Connecticut Light & Power and United Illuminating. As of 7 p.m., there were 1,020 CL&P outages.
