Suspect in 2 bank hold-ups linked to third robbery

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A man suspected in two bank hold-ups last month has been linked to a robbery that took place Monday.

Las Vegas Metro police said the robbery happened about 12:30 p.m. at a bank branch in the area of Maryland Parkway and Sahara Avenue.

Police believe the suspect was also involved in hold-ups that took place on June 4 in the area of Nellis Boulevard and Vegas Valley Drive and June 11 at Desert Inn Road and Decatur Boulevard.

In all of the incidents, police said the suspect approached the teller, demanded money and fled once obtaining it in both incidents.

Police described the suspect as a black man in his 30s or 40s, 5'6" to 5'9" and about 160 pounds with a medium build.

The suspect was last seen wearing a blue, button-up shirt over a white tank top, jeans, sunglasses and a ball cap.
