The Clark County Coroner's office confirmed a toddler who was pulled from a backyard pool in east Las Vegas died from a drowning as a result of an accident.

Medical examiners released the findings Tuesday for 19-month-old Krymson Clark.

Las Vegas Metro police said officers received a call at about 6 p.m. Sunday about the drowning at a home in the 2600 block of Topaz Square, near Eastern Avenue and Desert Inn Road.

Police said people inside the home at the time were asleep.

Metro said someone discovered the boy had walked out to the pool and had fallen in. The boy was rushed to Sunrise Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
