LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

The monthly First Friday street festival in downtown Las Vegas is reminding folks they are "Free to Be!"

In the event's post-Independence Day edition, some of the food trucks setting up in the fest include Ben's BBQ and Smokin' Bros., which are being located at Imperial Avenue and Third Street.

First Friday will continue to offer artists, vendors and live entertainment for this edition.

The festival is also rolling out a new digital program guide through mobile phone. A quick tutorial will be offered at a welcome tent located near Casino Center and Charleston boulevards.

The event lasts from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., with shuttles as well as free and fee parking available.

For more information on getting to the multi-block festival, you can visit www.firstfridaylasvegas.com.
