Nevada Department of Transportation announced lane restrictions for two areas on or around Interstate 15.
An intersection near downtown Las Vegas is set for lane restrictions and closures that are slated to last more than a month.
The area of Martin Luther King and Oakey boulevards will undergo a water main removal and replacement beginning Monday, July 8, according to the Nevada Department of Transportation.
NDOT said westbound Oakey will have lane restrictions from around the railroad tracks to just west of the MLK intersection. In addition, eastbound Oakey will be a two-lane thoroughfare for a lane of each west and eastbound traffic.
The lane restrictions are expected to last through Friday, Aug. 16.
NDOT also listed lane restrictions on I-15 between Silverado Ranch Boulevard and St. Rose Parkway interchanges beginning Monday:
From 9 p.m. Monday, July 8 to 5 a.m. Tuesday, July 9, I-15 southbound will be reduced to one lane between Silverado Ranch and St. Rose Parkway. At the completion of the work scheduled for Monday night, I-15 southbound will be shifted back to the western half of the freeway.
From 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 9 to 5 a.m. Wednesday, July 10, I-15 southbound will be reduced to two lanes between Silverado Ranch and St. Rose Parkway and I-15 northbound will be reduced to one lane in the project area.
From 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 10 to 5 a.m. Thursday, July 11, I-15 northbound will be reduced to one lane between Silverado Ranch and St. Rose Parkway.
