Authorities released the name of a Henderson man who died in a motorcycle accident on July 4.

Reid Anthony Haller, 20, was identified as the person who died in the incident, according to Clark County Coroner's office. His cause and manner of death were pending.

According to Henderson police, the incident happened at about 11:20 a.m. on eastbound Windmill Parkway near Arroyo Grande Boulevard.

Police said the motorcycle lost control, left the roadway and struck the center median. The motorcyclist was ejected from his bike and struck a light pole, according to Henderson PD.

Haller was taken to Sunrise Hospital Trauma, where he later died.

Police said the rider was wearing a helmet, but did not have a motorcycle driver's license.

Drugs and alcohol were not believed to be factors in the crash, police said. The incident forced the roadway to close for three hours.

This marked the second traffic-related fatality in Henderson this year.
