The Clark County coroner has identified the victim of a stabbing in March as John Clark Guthridge, 45. His cause of death was ruled multiple stab and incised wounds.
Metro police said they received a call about a stabbing shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday, March 23 near North 10th Street and Stewart Avenue in downtown Las Vegas.
Upon arrival, police found the body of a man lying in grass, a victim of multiple stab wounds.
Police said it appeared the victim had been sleeping in an outside transitional living area. A witness said the victim had gotten into a struggle prior to the stabbing.
