LAKE MEAD (FOX5) -

National Park Service volunteers recovered the body of an adult male at Lake Mead at about 8:40 a.m. on Wednesday.

The body was found floating near Castle Reef, the area where a Chicago man went missing on June 20. The Clark County medical examiner is working to identify the deceased.

The Park Service said Tibor Feichtner, 35, of Chicago, disappeared underwater near Painter's Cove and Castle Reef while he was swimming. He was not wearing a lifejacket.

The search for Feichtner has been ongoing since then.

The National Weather Service has forecast wind gusts between 18 and 29 mph for Lake Mead on Thursday and Friday. You should always wear a lifejacket while swimming at Lake Mead, especially when it's windy.
