LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
Several southern Nevada fireworks displays are being offered on Independence Day Thursday.
The fireworks are being offered not only on the Las Vegas Strip but also in the border towns of Laughlin and Primm.
Here is a list of fireworks shows scheduled for the evening of July 4:
Caesars Palace: The Strip property plans to set off its display from the rooftop of the Roman Tower beginning at 9 p.m. Its sister property, Paris Las Vegas, is offering a VIP package that will give access to the 460-foot observation deck at its Eiffel Tower. Tickets for the package are available at 702-777-2782, Ticketmaster.com or the Eiffel Tower box office.
Green Valley Ranch/Red Rock: The two Station Casinos properties are offering displays from their respective locations in Henderson and west Las Vegas. The show is scheduled for 9 p.m.
Smith Center: The Las Vegas Philharmonic performs along with a fireworks display set to begin at 9 p.m. in downtown Las Vegas.
Henderson: Mission Hills Park will play host to a family-friendly night of games, music and an 18-minute fireworks display. The event is from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 551 E. Mission Dr.
Providence's Knickerbocker Park: The park located just off the North 215 Beltway and Hualapai Way exit will host a night of Fourth of July celebration at 6 p.m. and will include a fireworks show at about 9:15 p.m.
Laughlin: The Laughlin River Walk will play host to "Rockets Over the River," which is set to begin at 9:30 p.m. If you miss it on Thursday, the display will be shown again at the same time Saturday.
Primm: Primm Valley Casino Resorts is planning to light up the sky with its fireworks display starting at dusk. The casino group said prime viewing can be had behind Buffalo Bill's Resort and Casino within the Star of the Desert Arena parking lot. The show is expected to last for 18 minutes.
