LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Terrible's Casino is set to complete its identity change to Silver Sevens Hotel and Casino with the lighting of its new neon sign on Monday.

The ceremonial lighting is slated for 8 p.m. at the renamed property at 4100 Paradise Rd., east of the Las Vegas Strip.

According to the property, the lighting marks a yearlong transition that included more than $5 million in renovations, enhancements and upgrades. New furniture and bathroom fixtures for all hotel rooms, as well as the new William Hill sports book, are part of the additions.

In May, the property dismantled its iconic Terrible's marquee cowboy to make way for the transition. The sign was sent to the Neon Museum to become a featured part of its collection.
