A Henderson man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning.
The crash happened just after 11 a.m. near the intersection of Patrick Road and Eastern Avenue.
Police said the driver, identified by the Clark County Coroner's Office as 64-year-old Steven Lucero, was traveling westbound on Patrick Lane when he drove into oncoming traffic, struck a curb and left the roadway. They said the vehicle then struck two trees, re-entered the roadway, crossed all lanes of traffic and struck the north curb, stopping in the westbound lanes.
Lucero was taken to Sunrise Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead. His two passengers were not injured in the crash, police said.
The cause of the crash was being investigated, but police said speed does not appear to have been a factor.
