A man who had his car towed is now facing charges after police said he tried to drive the car away without paying his bill.
Naquann Dillard had his 1999 red Cadillac recently towed to Martin's Wrecker Service on Hermitage Avenue.
Dillard owed the towing company $125, but police said he didn't have enough money to pay the bill.
Police said Dillard appeared to leave the business, but instead gained access to the lot and hid inside his car.
Later, when one of the tow truck drivers was opening up the gate to the lot, police said Dillard took the opportunity to escape with his car.
While fleeing the scene, police said Dillard nearly struck an employee. He was later arrested and identified in a police lineup.
Dillard is now facing an aggravated assault charge for nearly hitting the man.
