LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas police, members of Metro's vice squad and SWAT on Thursday afternoon served a search warrant at a house in Las Vegas suspected of being a brothel.

Police also believe the house - located on Kirk Avenue near Eastern and Washington avenues – may be a hub for sex trafficking.

Police said three females, a male, who was arrested and will be charged with pandering, and a possible customer were at the house when the warrant was served.

Police said someone in the community tipped them off that someone at the home may have been operating it as a brothel.

Bayron Sandoval, 16, watched the action unfold from his bedroom window.

"I heard sirens and microphones telling people to come outside. I looked out the window, and the whole SWAT team was around the corner, and they had K-9 police units," he said.

"Three females in the house appear to be adults. We will confirm that in the investigation, and we'll determine if they were, in fact, victims of human trafficking," Metro's Lou Pascoe said.

Neighbor Stephen Hickman said he has wondered why so many men come in and out of the house.

"I see a lot of traffic – cars, people. As far as women, I don't see many. It's mostly men going in and out of there," he said.

Hickman, who has a 17-year-old daughter and a 3-year-old son, said thinking about what might have been happening down the street from his family makes him sick.

"We're not going to take this. This is a nice neighborhood, family-oriented, and we don't need that kind of trash here," he said.

Police said human trafficking is common at brothels.
