Postal authorities are trying to determine if powder found in an Arizona woman's mail is a threat, Maricopa County Sheriff's Deputies said.
The woman, whose name wasn't released, returned home from an extended vacation and began sifting through her mail, MCSO Sgt. Brandon Jones said.
She opened a letter in her home and discovered it contained white powder, Jones said.
She bagged it up and brought the powder to a sheriff's substation in Cave Creek.
