LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Metro police are looking for the man who they say assaulted a clerk and fled a convenience store with cash.

The robbery took place at 5:45 p.m. Saturday at a convenience store near Charleston and Nellis boulevards.

Police said the man entered the store, punched the clerk and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as between 6' and 6'1" and between 185 and 200 pounds. He was wearing a 'do rag and a red tank top over a white T-shirt.
