LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Vice President Joe Biden will deliver a keynote speech at a convention in Las Vegas later this month.

Biden will speak at the national convention of the League of United Latin American Citizens on June 20. The convention will be held from June 17 to 21 at Caesars Palace.

According to its website, LULAC is the largest and oldest Hispanic organization in the United States.

Biden's wife, Dr. Jill Biden, spoke at the group's convention in Orlando last year. President Barack Obama, who was a senator at the time, spoke at the group's 2008 convention in Washington.

"We are particularly pleased that Vice President Biden will attend and give remarks at our pinnacle event for youth members," added LULAC national president Margaret Moran.

LULAC is headquartered in Washington and has 900 councils throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

The vice president last visited Las Vegas in October, when he spoke at the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, and, later the same day, surprised students at Matt Kelly Elementary School in North Las Vegas.
