(WMC-TV) - A federal grand jury indicted a Mississippi man suspected of sending poison-laced letters to President Barack Obama and other officials.
The 5-count indictment charges 41-year-old James Everett Dutschke for making and possessing ricin for use as a weapon.
If convicted on the charges, he could face life imprisonment and hundreds of thousands of dollars in fines.
Federal authorities arrested Dutschke in April at his Tupelo home. He denies involvement in the letters.
