A Henderson man was identified as the person killed in a wreck that involved a Frito-Lay truck on Interstate 15.
According to the Clark County Coroner's office, Alberto Escalona, 28, died of multiple head injuries as a result of an accident.
Escalona was one of two people taken to University Medical Center on Friday following the crash on southbound I-15 near the Blue Diamond Road exit, according to Nevada Highway Patrol.
Authorities said a Frito-Lay truck rear-ended a Mercedes Benz in the incident. The drivers in the Mercedes and the truck were hospitalized. Escalona, whom authorities say was in the Mercedes, later died.
Authorities said the truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
