Hundreds of folks have been waiting in a long line outside Wet ‘N' Wild to pick up their season passes as they prepare for opening day.
The rides have all been tested, and nearly 10 years after the old Wet ‘N' Wild park closed on the Strip, families say it's about time to get their splash on.
"I remember coming back in the late ‘80s early ‘90s in high school. I couldn't wait for Wet 'N' wild to come back," Brandae Reed said.
"The last one got really run down before it closed, so this is really nice and fresh and clean," Angelique Conte said.
Folks who bought gold and season passes can pick them up from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Then Saturday through Monday, the park opens for gold pass holders.
Season and gold pass holders can enjoy the park from May 28 through June 2.
Then single admission ticket buyers and season pass holders can all head to the park starting June 3.
Wet ‘N' Wild said the first few weeks are expected to be packed, so be prepared, and maybe even wait a little bit until the initial rush dies down.
