LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Two rival Mexican pro soccer clubs are slated to do battle in Las Vegas.

Sam Boyd Stadium announced the July 3 El Super Clasico matchup between Club Deportivo Guadalajara and Club America.

The game is slated for 8 p.m.

According to stadium officials, both clubs are the two most successful and popular teams in Mexico. CD Guadalajara, which also is known as Chivas, holds 11 titles while Club America is the owner of 10.

Officials for Sam Boyd Stadium said the world class matchup follows a slate of games it hosted in the last year. The stadium played host to an exhibition between Real Madrid and Santos Laguna in August as well as a tilt between Major League Soccer teams Chivas USA and Colorado Rapids in February.

Tickets, which start at $28, go on sale at the Thomas & Mack Center Box Office, UNLVTickets.com, the UNLVtickets outlet at Town Square or at 1-866-388-3267.
