The winning numbers for the Powerball $600 million jackpot are in and folks from all over Southern Nevada drove to Arizona and California to get their tickets and try to win big.
There were short lines and sometimes no lines at Arizona's Last Stop on Saturday, a popular spot for Nevadans to buy lottery tickets. The short wait was a welcome surprise for many people, including Las Vegas resident Michael Bowen.
"I went down to Primm earlier this morning and the line was so long, I just gave up and forgot about it," said Bowen, who didn't have to wait at all to buy his tickets in Arizona.
Luck wasn't on everyone's side when a two-vehicle accident blocked the parking lot to the store. That didn't stop customers from getting their tickets. They parked their cars on the side of the highway and to the store to get their chance at the jackpot.
The winning numbers are 10, 13, 14, 22, 52, and the Powerball is 11. A customer in Florida purchased the winning ticket.
