Early voting open in Henderson general election

The city of Henderson opened early voting Monday for its municipal general election.

The early vote period is expected to last through May 31 at Henderson City Hall, Galleria at Sunset and the following locations and dates:

- May 22 - Vons, 2667 Windmill Parkway;
- May 23 - Albertsons, 575 College Drive;
- May 24 - Solera at Anthem Community Center, 2401 Somersworth Drive;
- May 25 - Albertsons, 2650 Horizon Ridge Parkway;
- May 26 - Vons, 45 E. Horizon Ridge Parkway;
- May 28 - Albertsons, 201 S. Stephanie Street;
- May 29 - Anthem Sun City Center, 2450 Hampton Road;
- May 30 - Desert Willow Community Center, 2020 W. Horizon Ridge Parkway;
- May 31 - Heritage Park Senior Facility, 300 Racetrack Road.

The neighborhood polling places are open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Voting at city hall is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and at Galleria at Sunset from 10 a.m. 6 p.m. on weekdays.

According to the Clark County Department of Elections, Henderson voters are deciding on a Municipal Court Judge between Sandy Allred DiGiacomo and Mark Jeffrey Stevens.

North Las Vegas is also holding early voting for its general election. In North Las Vegas, residents there are determining the next Ward 1 council member between Isaac Eloy Barron and Jared T. Hardy.

The elections, as well as one in Mesquite for a council seat there, are run-off races resulting from April's primary election.

The general election day is on June 4.
