LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Popular mega-arcade GameWorks has a new home just south of its now-shuttered location at the Las Vegas Strip.

Shopping district Town Square Las Vegas, located on Las Vegas Boulevard South, announced Thursday plans for the video gaming and entertainment venue to open this November.

Town Square said the new GameWorks will occupy 37,000 square feet below the AMC movie theater and across from the Meatball Spot eatery.

The new GameWorks will now feature bowling, a laser tag arena and a 100-seat LAN gaming center for online console and PC gaming, Town Square said.

GameWorks closed its doors at its location next to the MGM Grand property in March 2012 with promises to open elsewhere in the city. The property had been in business for 15 years.

The venue provided an entertainment option for underage visitors of Las Vegas.
