LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Hundreds of vehicles, including 25 Toyota Prius hybrid vehicles, are slated to be up for bids in Clark County's next government auction Saturday.

The county said pre-registration and a preview of the items open Wednesday and close Friday at the Clark County yard at 4320 Stephanie St., near East Flamingo Road. The yard will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day of the preview.

The auction is scheduled for 9 a.m. Saturday.

Clark County noted the Prius hybrids are 2004 model vehicles with 60,000 to 90,000 miles.

"All the vehicles in the fleet have a life expectancy, and these vehicles have reached or exceeded their life expectancy in a fleet operation, so they're replaced," said David Johnson, manager of the county's automotive division.

Hundreds of other items will be up for bids, including computers, bicycles and lost and found merchandise from McCarran Airport.

The auction is held three times a year with this upcoming event being the second of 2013.
