LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A Las Vegas woman was arrested Sunday night in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a man the night before.

The crash happened about 11 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Jones Boulevard and Saddle Avenue.

Investigators said the vehicle hit a man who was crossing Jones Boulevard and then fled the scene. They said the man was taken to UMC hospital, where he died.

On Sunday night, 33-year-old Elizabeth Meza turned herself in to authorities, according to officers at the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.

Meza was charged with duty to stop at the scene of an accident and failure to yield to pedestrian.

The victim's name was not immediately released.
