LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police are looking for two robbery suspects who, investigators said, took cases of beer from a store without paying for them and threatened a clerk with a handgun.

Las Vegas Metro police said the robbery happened at a business near Lake Mead and Decatur boulevards just after 1 a.m. on April 8.

Police said one suspect walked into the store, grabbed two cases of beer from a cooler area and walked past the cashier, saying, "I'm taking these."

The man walked out to a mid-90s to early 2000 model four-door black BMW, police said. The clerk followed to obtain the plate number, but a second suspect threatened the cashier with a weapon, according to detectives.

The men fled in the BMW, police said.

Police described one suspect as a Hispanic man, about 23 years old, 5'5" to 5'7" in height and 150 pounds. The other suspect was described as a black man, about 5'9" in height with a medium build.

Police urge anyone with information on the two suspect to contact Metro's robbery department at 702-828-3591 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
