Police hoping for information on homicide victim

Metro police are hoping someone will come forward with information that will lead to an arrest in an apparent homicide.

Police were called to an apartment complex on Lamb Boulevard between Bonanza Road and Stewart Avenue on Monday just after 5 a.m. in response to reports of an unconscious man.

Police located the victim, identified as Juan Martinez, 44, who was suffering from undisclosed injuries.

Martinez was taken to Sunrise Hospital where he was pronounced dead the next day.

Martinez was 5'8", 180 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.
