The Las Vegas 51s will play the first of eight consecutive home games Tuesday.
The Triple-A minor league affiliate for the New York Mets will open its homestand against the Round Rock Express, the farm team for the Texas Rangers.
The Express are in town for four games through Friday with first pitch scheduled at 7:05 p.m. each night.
The 51s will follow that series with one against the Los Angeles Dodgers affiliate, Albuquerque Isotopes, on Saturday. The four-game series is slated through Tuesday.
The ball club also noted special promotions throughout the homestand at Cashman Field. Thursday marks Dollar Beer Night, followed by a fireworks show after Friday's contest.
