The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is teaming up with the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada to show their support for gay marriage.
Thirty-six gay and straight ally couples will hold wedding ceremonies at the resort's Pop-Up Wedding Chapel Thursday starting at 4 p.m.
Every five minutes for three hours, one of the couples will take or renew their vows.
The couples are using the ceremonies to show their support for Nevada Senate Joint Resolution 13, a bill that could clear the path for gay marriage in Nevada.
The Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Southern Nevada is a community organization that supports and promotes activities that support members of the gay, lesbian and transgendered community.
