Driver killed at Interstate 215 ramp ID'd

LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Authorities released the name of a driver who died in a wreck on the Interstate 215 off-ramp at Warm Springs Road.

Agustin Buenrostro, 28, of Las Vegas, died of multiple blunt force injuries as a result of the accident, the Clark County Coroner's Office said.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, Buenrostro was behind the wheel of a Mercury Grand Marquis that was traveling on the I-215 eastbound off-ramp just before 1 a.m. on April 23.

The vehicle entered an intersection on a red light and continued through, where it struck a barrier wall on the south side of Warm Springs Road.

Buenrostro was pronounced dead at the scene. NHP said the driver was not wearing a seat belt.
