LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

An Interstate 15 exit ramp that was closed after a fatal motorcycle crash near the Spaghetti Bowl on Friday morning has reopened.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the single-vehicle crash happened just after 10 a.m. on the I-15 southbound ramp to northbound U.S. Highway 95.

Troopers said the 64-year-old motorcyclist's bike went about halfway down the ramp. The driver was transported to University Medical Center with critical injuries, where he died just after arrival.

The ramp was shut down after the crash, but was reopened just after 12:30 p.m.

The driver's name was not immediately released.
