LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Las Vegas Metro police on Wednesday said they arrested a man in connection with a litany of crimes, including what the victim described as waterboarding.

Arman Izadi, 28, was booked into Clark County Detention Center on charges of pandering an adult with force, transporting an adult for prostitution, accepting earnings for a prostitute, kidnapping with a deadly weapon, battery, coercion, strangulation and extortion.

Izadi's arrest report graphically lays out a series of instances of alleged abuse of prostitutes. Izadi claimed to operate as a casino host, helping with nightclub promotions.

Metro police met with confessed prostitutes allegedly in Izadi's employ. One had several visible injures including bruising on her wrist and elbow, swollen, bruised knees and scratches on her thigh.

That prostitute, who had been searching for work in the Las Vegas Valley as a paralegal, went into great detail in the report about how Izadi allegedly began a dating relationship with her before slowly coercing her into a profitable life of prostitution.

That alleged victim claimed Izadi became increasingly violent as time passed, repeatedly torturing her, holding her prisoner and cutting her off from family.

According to the incident report, the woman told police that Izadi sprayed water in her mouth and nose while choking her. The woman told police that Izadi then pushed her onto her back, doused a towel with water and then held it over her face.

"[The victim] described the experience as being 'waterboarded,'" according to the report. "She stated it felt as if she were drowning."

Izadi was being held without bond at the Clark County jail.
