A 25-year-old man was arrested Monday and charged in connection with a deadly shooting that happened near downtown Las Vegas.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, Dustin Bleak was taken into custody by a Criminal Apprehension Team and booked into Clark County Detention Center. Bleak was charged with murder with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit murder, attempted robbery with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery and sale of a controlled substance.

Police said Bleak was one of the suspects involved in a shooting that took place just after 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 2800 block of Fremont Street.

Officers arrived on scene where they discovered a male with an apparent gunshot wound to his abdomen. Police said the victim was transported to University Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.
