A woman was charged in connection with a fatal crash in North Las Vegas that killed a Las Vegas man Friday evening.
The two-vehicle crash happened about 5:35 p.m. near the intersection of Craig Road and Home Depot Drive.
According to Public Information Office Chrissie Coon, of the North Las Vegas Police Department, officers arrived to find an unconscious man inside a sedan that had hit a light pole. She said the man, who was identified as 53-year-old James Williams, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Coon said Williams' car was making a turn into a shopping center when another vehicle, driven by 27-year-old Courtney Hildinger, hit the back of his car, pushing it into the light pole.
Hildinger was charged with driving under the influence with death, Coon said.
