Police said Friday they are investigating the death of a baby in Bullhead City who died earlier this month.
Investigators said that about 8 p.m. April 9 they were called to a home in the 600 block of Palo Verde Drive after someone reported the 7-month-old boy was not breathing. They said the child was rushed to an Arizona hospital before being taken to Sunrise Hospital in Las Vegas.
The child was listed in critical condition and placed on life support because of a severe brain bleed before he succumbed to his injuries, according to police.
Doctors told detectives the child's injuries were not accidental, police said.
The child's identity was not immediately released.
