NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -

The North Las Vegas Fire Department on Thursday afternoon battled a fire near the Secured Fibers recycling plant, near Lamb Boulevard and Craig Road.

A spokesperson for the department said large bundles caught fire outside of the facility just before 3 p.m.

Streets in the area were closed and the facility was evacuated. No injuries have been reported.

The majority of the fire was put out by 3:30 p.m. Firefighters tore up the bundles and sprayed more water on them to prevent re-ignition.

This is the third fire at or around the facility in the past year.
