MESQUITE, NV (FOX5) -

Police in Mesquite have discovered the body of a person they suspect was a second victim in a slaying this past weekend.

Police were called to the area of Mesquite and Sandhill boulevards just before 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. There they discovered victim Michael Eldredge, of Mesquite, bleeding heavily from apparent knife wounds.

Eldredge was taken to Mesa View Regional Hospital, where he died. His cause of death was listed as a result of multiple stab wounds.

Metro police arrested Ryan Wood, 43, of Mesquite, near Logandale later that evening.

Police later learned there may have been a second victim. Detectives located the body of an unidentified male victim concealed in a basement of a residence on Mesquite Boulevard.

On Monday afternoon, police arrested Jeramiah Juber, 30, of Hurricane, UT, in connection with the slaying of the unidentified victim.

Wood, meanwhile, is being held in connection with the slaying of both victims.
