Aspiring mixed-martial arts contenders of either gender can get the opportunity to try out for UFC's amateur-to-professional showcase, "The Ultimate Fighter."
Ultimate Fighting Championship said tryouts for Season 18 are slated to happen Monday at the Palace Station Hotel Grand Ballroom. Registration begins at 8 a.m.
The next season of the hit show will feature men and women. It will be the first time in the show's history to feature female fighters.
The season 18 debut will also feature a bout between pros Miesha Tate vs. Cat Zingano. The winner will coach against women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey.
Bantamweight men and women, or fighters in the 135-lb. range, are open to try out.
The fighting federation requires those on the show to be at least 21 years old, have the legal ability to live and work in the United States and must have a minimum of three pro MMA fights.
