LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -
One person is in critical condition after crashing into the Dillard's department store parking garage at Fashion Show Mall, near the intersection of Industrial Road and Mel Torme Way.
The driver was taken to University Medical Center.
According to witnesses, just before 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, a taxi cab was stopped at a red light at Industrial and Mel Torme, the driver revved the engine and took off while the light was still red, heading northbound on Industrial.
The taxi then hit a curb, drove over a hill and struck the side of the parking structure. There were no other occupants in the vehicle and no other injuries reported.
