Man accused of flashing women in Bellevue parking lots

Posted: Updated:
NASHVILLE, TN (WSMV) -

Metro police say a man suspected of exposing himself to a couple of women in the parking lots of a grocery store and shopping center in Bellevue is under investigation for his possible involvement in other similar cases.

Aquiles Rojas, 19, is accused of driving up to a woman in the parking lot of TJ Maxx near Highway 70 South and Old Hickory Boulevard and asking for directions. The woman then realized he wasn't wearing pants and was exposing himself, so she ran away and called police.

Police say Rojas also approached a different victim across the street in the Kroger parking lot with his pants down and grabbed her breast.

Rojas, whose vehicle in the alleged incidents was a white Acura sedan, was later arrested and charged with sexual battery, indecent exposure and possession of Xanax and marijuana.

He was released after posting $15,000 bond.

Detectives are now working to determine whether Rojas was involved in at least two other similar indecent exposure cases from this year.

Police have not released the suspect's photograph so as not to jeopardize the investigation and pending photo lineups.
