Henderson Mayor Andy Hafen will keep his job.
With 100 percent of precincts reporting, Hafen won with just less than 55 percent of the vote. Because Hafen garnered more than 50 percent of the vote, he does not need to face a runoff election.
Hafen's closest competitor was Rick Workman, who received 37 percent of the vote.
During Hafen's State of the City address earlier this year, he focused on city projects and accomplishments such as bringing new businesses to the city from out of state.
Hafen specifically mentioned the new water park, Cowabunga Bay, to be built near Gibson Road and the Galleria at Sunset Mall.
