The Ohio Department of Natural Resources' website offers live webcams to view active peregrine falcon nests.

By 1968, the peregrine population was completely eradicated east of the Mississippi River, according to the DNR's website, at least partially due to the pesticide DDT affecting egg shell formation.

Peregrine falcons are now a threatened species in Ohio.

The live FalconCams are of nests located on the 41st floor ledge of the Rhodes State Office Tower in Columbus, the bell tower of the Bowling Green Courthouse in Bowling Green, and on the Chase Bank tower in Canton.
