LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

Police released a composite sketch of a man believed to have forced a girl into a car in a northwest Las Vegas neighborhood.

According to Las Vegas Metro police, the girl was taken about 2:45 p.m. on March 27 in the area of Centennial Parkway and N. Fort Apache Road.

Police said the suspect was driving a newer model dark blue Chrysler 300 with tinted windows when he took the girl. The girl, though, was able to escape unharmed in the 9600 block of W. Tropical Parkway.

The suspect, whose race was not known, was described as 25-30 years old, about 6 feet tall and about 200 pounds with a muscular build.

He was described as having brown skin with short, black hair worn in a spiked style. He was last seen wearing a light blue shirt and black jeans.

Police urge anyone with information on the suspect to contact Metro's Sexual Assault Section at 702-828-3421 or Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555.
