A North Las Vegas mother accused of tying her 4-year-old daughter to a bed and leaving her alone for hours appeared for her rescheduled court date on Tuesday.

Laketha Moore appeared in North Las Vegas Court in connection to child abuse and endangerment charges. She originally was scheduled to face a judge on Friday but refused to appear.

In court, Moore was given a copy of her criminal complaint for the 31 counts of child neglect she faces. Her next court appearance was scheduled for April 16.

According to the arrest report, Moore admitted to tying up her child because she's a single mother and didn't have a babysitter. She also told officers her daughter would ransack the house and was a picky eater. The report also reveals a long list of abuses.

A day before Moore's arrest on March 20, an apartment complex employee went inside the unit because Moore was behind on her rent. The employee then noticed the doors tied together. It didn't sit well with her so she came back the next day and then she found the girl, according to a report.

Moore faces 31 counts of child neglect for 31 days she admits to leaving her 4-year-old daughter home alone.

The child was treated for her injuries and released to Child Protective Services.
