A woman had to be air lifted off of the Cholla Trail Friday morning because of an ankle injury.
Both the Phoenix and Tempe fire departments responded to the Camelback Mountain rescue off of the Cholla Trail after a woman injured her ankle.
The woman, in her 30s, was lifted out by helicopter then taken to a Valley hospital.
The Phoenix Fire Department is again warning everyone to be careful on mountain trails and remember to stay hydrated.
