LAS VEGAS (FOX5) -

A parent who lost control of a vehicle slammed into the front of a daycare center in west Las Vegas Friday.

Las Vegas Metro police reported the collision at the Kindercare at Torrey Pines Drive and Flamingo Road just after 7 a.m.

According to a statement by a Kindercare representative, the vehicle struck a wall of the lobby and broke windows. Some of the glass went into a classroom where two teachers and three children were inside, the representative said.

Kindercare, though, said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

The daycare directed staff and children to a different Kindercare location as it closed for the day.

The statement said the facility will remain closed until repairs can be made, but officials hope to re-open by early next week.
