NORTH LAS VEGAS, NV (FOX5) -
The North Las Vegas Police Department has released the results of its latest Joining Forces event, an effort focused on intersection safety.
Aside from the usual violations and resultant citations, the citywide event on March 8 yielded two fugitive arrests.
The complete results are as follows:
- 4 - failure to yield to pedestrian violations
- 8 - seatbelt/child restraint violations
- 5 - speeding violations
- 117 - red light violations
- 30 - driver's license violations
- 43 - registration/ insurance violations
- 30 - cell phone/text violations
- 56 - other violations
- 2 - fugitive arrests
The event is made possible by a grant from the Nevada Department of Public Safety.
