Woman charged for throwing rocks at deputy

Authorities said a 22-year-old woman may have been intoxicated when she threw dirt and rocks in a deputy's face.

According to the Mohave County Sheriff's office, Adina Rose Hunter was arrested Tuesday in Dolan Springs, Ariz. after a deputy saw that she appeared intoxicated.

When the deputy advised her to go home, the sheriff's office said, Hunter became upset and started throwing the objects.

Hunter was arrested and booked into Mohave County Jail on a felony count of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.

Dolan Springs is located along U.S. 93, more than 60 miles northeast of Laughlin, Nev.
